Default Tein S-Techs...

I found these... and they say that they are designed around OEM struts, is this true or would this ride like crap...

They're theoretically safe to use on stock struts, but chances are the struts will blow out sooner than they would if kept the stock ride height. Personally, I'd recommend you just swap out the struts while you have the suspension torn apart; no use tearing apart the suspension twice.

they are designed to be used on stock struts but they will blow out faster than being on stock. i've had mines for 3 months on stock struts. that site is a bit over priced i got mines on ebay for about $160-$180. but watch out for counterfeits.

Agreed! I will wait until I have the money to buy the struts as well... what do you guys recommend for drop kit, remember this as well I am not rich and it takes me tons of time to save up for money... so hit me with some good stuff (not ebay crap) and some prices... I am looking in the 3-400$ range... and thanks in advance!

Also the 3-400 is including shocks and struts btw... used doesnt matter to me either... I just need to know what brands I am looking for.

Cheap and still pretty good, get the Tein S-Techs and some Tokico HP struts.

Yup, the S-Techs with HP struts is one of the most popular "drop on a budget" combos out there, and for good reason.

i have OEM 99 struts with S-Techs and it rides just fine. Granted aftermarket shocks would be better if you're planning on doing them in the future it'd be better to just tear your suspension apart once, but if the springs are all your planning on doing you should be okay.
