These will rub right?
Friend of mine has some 215 40 16 tires on 16s willing to sell to me
not modded my suspension... yet, but i'm betting its too wide for my car w/o rolling my fenders, or is it going to fit(with the rolling)?
or is it too wide w/o cutting my fenders up?
offset is +42(or +40 its one of the two)
Thanks!
Car ==97 civic cx hatch
stock 185 65 14, oem height is a little bit bigger(methinks, maths might be off)

You'll probably have to roll your fenders for sure. Even with 205/40/17s I had to roll my fenders. You can easily roll them with a baseball bat, I did it that way and it's fine, however most people recommend against it. Or you could get a fender rolling tool. Addiction2bass was interested in buying the tool and renting it to people for less money than the normal rental places.
