tire inflation question??

Default tire inflation question??

how much pressure should i be putting in my tires? it says on em 35 max psi... then on my door it says 30 up front, 29 in the back.... then in the manual it says for high speed driving, 36 up front and 35 in the back.... what should i go with??

go with what the tire company recomends because they designed the tire to need that much pressure to operate right

Wrong, sorry... with stock size tires ALWAYS go with whats on the inside of the door (unless you change to low profile/performance tires... then go with the sidewall reading.)

do the chalk thing. draw a line on the tire. and drive a while, see where it wears out, then inflate so its wearing properly. be sure to take turns the way u normally would.

alright, so you think i should start off goin with the 36front 35back for high speed? or just 30 front 29 back?

Go 30, 29... Hi-speed driving means taking long highway trips for hundreds of miles at constant speed of like 55-70. For routine driving and the occasional highway drive go 30, 29.

If you are going on vacation and have alot of highway ahead of you then add more air and thats when you would use the 36, 35
