i got a set of tires for free from work. problem is they are 215/65R16, and i believe they are for a caravan. i was just gonna sell them, but i was wondering about using them. i know it has a huge sidewall that probably wont look the best, but is this too big of a side wall to fit my 95 lx with stock suspension? i was planning on getting the tein s-techs, but im pretty sure that would be a no go with these fat *** side walls. the recommended side wall i found online is a 40 or 45. any help?

 

I would think they would rub if your stock suspension is very bouncy at all, being as its a 95. And if its dropped, no way in hell. If you go the S-Techs route, you can run 45 walls with 16s and be fine, if you go lower I would say get some 40s. I run 205/40/16 with Neuspeed Springs, a little over a 2 inch drop.

 

It would not be wise to use those tires. They're way too big.


I would use 205/45/16 (recommended +2 tire size)
