tires rubbing need help!!!

Default tires rubbing need help!!!

ok so i bought new tires. i went from 205 40 17 to 205 45 17 and my tires are all rubbing. i hade 3 people in the back of my 98 coupe and the back tires were rubbing. and every time i turn my front wheels all the way till they cant go anymore the back right of the front tires rubs something really big. i also have tein stechs

what i want to know is what should i do and if anyone else is haveing this problem.

Buy tires that fit. 205/45R17s are too big for your car. 205/40R17s are similar diameter to stock, but wider. They barely fit, even with the car at stock height.

Oh jeez, looks like I posted too late in your other thread. The 45's are too tall, especially with a 2" drop. The 40's are already 3% bigger than your stock diameter, I'd imagine the 45's would be somewhere around 5% off.

And Kommando, 40's fit fine with a slammed civic, they're just a little uncomfortable
