Troubleshooting Help, ABS light 95 civic
My abs light is on on my 95 civic. I'm guessing that it is a wheel sensor becausethe lightcomes on as soon as the speedometer hits 10 MPH. Does anyone know how I would go about retrieving the codes to determine which wheel sensor is bad?
Thanks, Marty

Jumper the SCS connector with a paperclip, just like you were reading engine ECU error codes. The ABS lamp will flash instead (or along with) the CEL. Here's how it goes...
Long flash & long pause = this isn't the code yet.
Short flashes - short pause - short flashes = 2-digit error code.
Long pause
Short flashes - short pause - short flashes = next 2-digit error code.
etc. until it repeats the first 2-digit code.
Post the codes you get, I'll have to go looking formy list of codes.

found it! its tucked under the glovebox to the right. Here's a pic http://www.geocities.com/ng_randolph/Civic/mvc-163s.jpg
Got a code 4-8 which means left rear wheel sensor. I'm going to try and replace it myself. I may need more help later.

I've been looking for replacement instructions on the internet, not much luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for an online parts supplier.
