what is the point of wheel spacers?

Default what is the point of wheel spacers?

i have a honda civic with lowering springs and 15's but what is the point of wheel spacers? do they make you handle better?

allows for fitment of certain offsets on some wheels. some require new extended studs. something u def. dont want to cheap out on.

chances are if u have to ask what they do, u probably dont need them.

some use them as a visual thing... makes the wheels stick out farther.

This will improve handling to an extent, but adds stress to the axle and will make it bow in time if too aggressive. Main reason is like said above... used for wheel clearance.

In the world of the typical Honda Civic..... wheel spacers have NO value. They (as stated above) push the wheel the wrong direction to solve the majority of the
problems the average owner has. Whens the last time you read a post..... "my wheels are too far under my car"[8D]
