Default Wheel hop

Can somone tell me what causes wheels hop because every since I got my car whenever im rounding a turn or sharp corner and hit even a little bump in the road my car seems to hop alot. I've been rounding a turn going 60 which was rated at 45 which isn't a big deal and It hops really bad and a little scary. I'm hoping its just suspension which is ****ty and im replacing it soon. I did notice a slight bit of difference when I took off my 17's for the winter and put on some 15's it got a little better.

something to understand is, the strut and spring are designed to keep the tire and wheel on the ground, this could be only part fo your problem!
Bushing and other chassis parts come into play... inspect you front end REAL well.

I dont think that is the problem; that thing is for stopping wheelhop on launch.

your problem doesn't sound like "wheelhop" per se, but more of a suspension problem. what is your setup?

stiff motor mounts help with wheel hope a lot. Are your tires worn funny like in some spots and not in others. <--This is called cupping and what happens is your wheel is bouncing up and down as you drive down the road.
