I have 91 Civic, station wagon 1.5L FWD, auto transmission, has run 150K. For the past few days it is hard for me to move the shift lever from reverse to drive or from reverse to parking during morning. Shifting to reverse from parking is normal, and backing up is also normal, but it is hard to shift from reverse. But no problem in the automatic gear shift during running.

This hard in the reverse gear is little better once the engine is warm. The transmission fluid condition and level are good.

Any idea on what the problem could be?
