Exclamation 94' Civic DX Coupe Tansmission swap HELP!!

I have a 1994 Honda Civic DX. Its a 2 door coupe. I love the car, but its an automatic. I want to know if you can swap out a automatic transmission and put in a manual. If you can what transmissions would fit in a 94 Civic DX, because i heard that different civic models can swap parts.

Yes, you can. D-series transmissions that will fit are any 92-00 D-series engine transmission... any USDM 92-00 Civic transmission besides the 99-00 Si. Keep in mind that different trim level Civics have different gearing. The 96-00 EX (D16Y8) has the shortest gearing and it is made of steel. The 92-95 EX (D16Z6) has almost the exact same gearing (one gear—4th, I think—is slightly different) but is made of aluminum... not a big deal but the steel is stronger. Then as you go down the trim levels they get a little longer geared. DX/LX transmissions (96-00 CX/DX/LX is D16Y7, 92-95 DX/LX is D15B7) are the next down, then after that is the 92-95 CX, etc.
