Hi,

I am going to change my transmission fluid in 1996 EXand use the drain and fill method mentioned in other posts. Everyone seems to recommend using only the Honda ATF Z-1 fluid but I see that Castrol now makes an ATF fluid that exceeds the OEM ratings required for the fluids. Has anyone used this fluid yet? Any issues with it's use?

yea, I try to stay as OEM as possible

 

atf for automatic

 

yeah atf is only for autos. and i would only run honda atf, its the best.

now manual trans open a whole new story/debate
