I'm currently in the process of gathering all the parts for a CVT to manual swap. My understanding is that since I'm switching to a D16Y8 tranny, I'll need to change my axles as well. Am I correct?

 

i did a little reasearch into your prior posts and u have a 98, provided that the trans is a 98 (or the same type) you dont need new axles

just check part stores and see if they have different axles listed for the car that you have and the trans u are using, if they are the same axels your golden, if they are diff u need to do a lil reasearch.
