Default clutch

I just put in a stage 3 ACT clutch and aluminum fly wheel about 5 months ago, If the clutch burns out does it ALWAYS make the clutch pedal fall to the floor? B/c my civic starts but it won't go into to gear. thanks

not going into gear is usually a sign of the synchros going out, not the clutch... but... when you try to take off are you having to really rev the motor to get going? Thats a sign of the clutch slipping.

...but what do you mean by "clutch falling to the floor" ?? It doesn't rebound back when you take your foot off of it?

Clutch pedal falling to the floor might be due to clutch slave cylinder failure?
What you are describing doesn't sound like a burnt clutch to me....

yeah, this doesnt sound like a worn clutch, esp. since the clutch is new. it sounds like a leak somewhere in the system. fill up the clutch fluid resevoir, then pull the pedal up and watch the fluid lines and cylinders for leaks as someone pushes the pedal for you.
