Question Clutch not building pressure

I just installed an exedy stage 1 on my 02 civic ex. everything went pretty smoothly until the pressure line broke off of the slave cylinder when I was putting the transmission back on.

After replacing the line, I attempted to bleed the clutch. After trying to bleed for about an hour, I called a friend to come take a look and he said the master cylinder was bad, so I had it replaced.

The clutch still wont build pressure, but i took the slave cylinder to auto zone and the guy up there said it was ok. Any suggestions?

Any detectable leaks in the master or slave cylinder or lines? If not, try bleeding the system again. How exactly are you bleeding the system?

I'm doin it just how the book told me to. Pump the clutch a few times, leave it down, bleed, then repeat. there's no pressure even making it to the slave cylinder.

Did you try limiting movement of the clutch fork with a block of wood (see diagram above)?

No brake fluid or air ever squirts out of the slave cylinder bleed hole when you push down the clutch pedal multiple times? Is the reservoir filled?

I had a friend hold the fork all the way in to see if it was even trying to move. It wasn't.. and we can't find any leaks and we keep the reservoir filled.

So the slave cylinder is neither expelling air nor fluid when the pedal is pushed, right? If so, you may need to bench bleed the master cylinder prior to installation.

bench bleed? before i connected the master cylinder to the pressure line, i pumped it until it shot fluid.. and for some reason i feel like air is coming in through the slave cylinder but there's no fluid coming out..

If air is being expelled from the slave-cylinder bleed hole when the clutch pedal is pushed, then keep pumping until fluid comes out. Are you bleeding the system exactly as described in the diagram that I posted?

I just tried again and used a block of wood like the diagram suggested. It got to a steady stream every now and then when bleeding but it never built up pressure.
