You can hear and feel the clutch slipping. It's a kind of a rattling noise from the transmission on acceleration. You can also see your RPM climb while your car isn't going any faster.

 

Yup then i think thats what i got goin on[&o]. I am gonna do a vid and make you guy hear it and tell me. This is my first manual car. Got it about 4 months ago. So if it slips do i have to get a new one?

honda clutches deep? i love my clutch...at least i dont have to push it about 2mm. from the floor like in 2g DSM's......i think im going to put on an exedy stage 2 on my y8 build.

 

would that clutch be deep too?? its too damn hard to launch in my civ...

 

the thickness doesn't play as great as a role as the material you are purchasing, different clutch materials have different clamping power, therefore have different driving characteristics, which is why they're labeled with different horsepower ratings and stages.

and fyi, DO NOT install clutches that have a higher horsepower rating than your car does. it will give you a driving characteristic that's not what you desire.
