ok so i had a d15 non vtec in a 1993 honda civic... cracked the head now its dead... just bought a d16z6 and the d15 was auto ... the new engine is a manual... what are the parts list needed to preform such a task?... i got my engine for 600 with 15-30k miles on it pretty good hu?

 

well you mean to put the car back to a automatic..... or you want to convert the car to a manual now?

if ya want the Z6 to hook up to the factory automatic ya simply replace the flywheel with the automatic flywheel from the old motor. and bolt the tranny up to the motor....

otherwise theirs quite a few parts ya have to buy to make a automatic a manual. use the search button there is PLEANTY of threads about doing the swap!

 

the d15 was a auto ... the car was auto when i cracked the head... but now i wanna switch it to manual...i try to search for parts needed but im not sure if like auto to manual swaps would be different depending if its from 95 on up.... thanks for the help... nice 99 ...diggin it
