engine swap....tranny help
a buddy of mine has an h22a engine at his shop that he says will fit perfect into my 2000 honda civic si.... problem is tha tranny is gone .... he also has an accord tranny he could throw onto the engine, do u think this is a good idea? tha only downfall i can think of is that the gear ration will be differant..... is it a good idea to swap? all feedback and info would be great , thank you
An H22 is never a prefect fit in a civic..
So no you will need different mounts
Also if i am not mistaken in what i know you will have to mod the casie plus the shift linkage and shifter location..
And last but not least i do belive you will have to mess with the firewall some..
If you want a swap got with.. B16's B18's or K20's
