Default is my clutch burned?

or is it something else? i haven't driven the car in 2 days. (which is a record) and when i got in, you know how they constantly rev high sometimes 3 or 2,500. it was doing that which okay, i guess i understand. but when i start driving it now when the clutch comes out just a bit, i'd say about an inch or 2 from the floor it let's go and wants to shut off. could this be something else?
