Default New clutch

Well, if you have been on here for more than 12 seconds, chances are you have heard me complain about my clutch slipping. I got into it this weekend in hopes of going to the track for Midnight Madness on Saturday (Freaky ho'ed me out). We got the tranny open and good news/bad news is that the clutch in there was almost brand new. Wtf? I just wasted $110.

So, the good news is that it's not a bad clutch, it's that I am making too much power for the stocker (I guess). The bad news is that I had to pull the damn tranny to find that out and broke my shifter in the process (I lowered the car with the linkage hanging down and it snapped, I know, smart, huh?)

The old one.

I guess now I have to go to Houma, La. and steal Freaky's stage1.

Well, I have seen Exedy Stage1 with a lightened flywheel for ~$250 on ebay, but Freaky is swapping an H22 so he dont' need no stinkin D series clutch.

Yeah, I could do that. I will do one when I get back under there to put the Stage1 in. I forgot my camera last time.
