So today I drove the car to the store. The car drove fine with no problems. I go into store and buy some groceries. I come back out of store and get into car and put into reverse to back out. I am backing out while turning the wheel to get outta parking spot. Then the car stops IMMEDIATELY. It was like a wall. Then I put car in drive to go forward and I hear a loud grinding. Now the car will not drive. So I push it back in the parking spot and try to put into reverse and it only grinds like I can hear something spinning and grinding. Still the car wont move. If I put into neutral the car is fine and I can push it. Also park makes no noise but does grind for a minute when I shift into park. The engine sounds normal. I drive an 2009 Honda civic lx-s. Automatic transmission. With 138k miles. Can you guys please tell me what happened?
