Shudder on take off
I have a 1996 Honda Civic with a 5-speed. About 6 months ago, I had the clutch replaced by Aamco. The car had 106,000 miles on it and the clutch was shot. Aamco replaced the hydraulics , main bearng seal, throwout bearing, clutch , and also resurfaced the flywheel. It drove like a brand new car.
Since then, I have put about 10,000 miles on the car. A few days ago, it started to shudder on take off. It only does this when the car is cold and has been sitting for a few hours - like when I leave the house for work in the morning. It shudders only when I take off in first gear and only does it for about a second as I'm letting out the clutch. If I stop at a stop sign and take off again, it does it again. Then after the car gets warmed up a bit,the problem goes away and it drives perfectly until the car sits for a few hours and cools off.
It is still under warranty with Aamco. I'm concerned it may be the flywheel ?????
Why would the problem disappear after the car is warmed up a bit.

It's the clutch, did you get an OEM one or an aftermarket one? A clutch chatter generally means that the clutch is starting to get weary, once the clutch heats up it will engage better.
You're probably going to need yet another clutch.
