slave cylinder question

Default slave cylinder question

got a 96 DX civic with a JDM B16A swap...lately ive had a problem gettin in gears mainly third itl grind going intoand no others unless i try to drop gears then itl grind that gear or if i try to shift quick. Its hard to get into any gear though. As of tonight however it got really bad and now ill push my clutch in about half way before itl start engaging at all and when im driving if i put the clutch in it doesnt engage immedietely if at all..I think this is the slave cylinder problem but im not sure so please any help soon as possible

it sounds more like your clutch is toast.

sounds syncronizers (sp) to me which isnt good if it is

if it was the syncronizers, it should do it on all shifts, not just going into 3rd...

no not true because you can just have a certain syncro go out. I had lost 3rd gear syncro on my Z24 before and had to replace the whole tranny (it was just cheaper that way) and it would grind terriblely going into 3rd gear but only 3rd gear
