my uncle is a mechanic and he told me that if im going to swap my transmission, i should do it before my transmission breaks because it would be worth more, what do you guys think?
wait until it breaks or swap it now so i can sell it

this is going to be a auto to manual swap

well either way the auto will be worth more money before it breaks.... cause think of it... even tho its a USED trany thiers still gonna be LOTS of good internals that can be reused to save on cash at the tranny shop... BUT if you take a busted auto tranny in for rebuild thier would be TONS MORE DAMAGE TO ALL THE PARTS and would preaty much have to have ALL NEW INTERNALS....



so ya id say swap it before it breaks.... BUT just make sure ya got all the parts ya need.... id love to swap my auto to a manual BUT i just do WAY to much early morning driving and in the winters its to much snow to worry about keeping it ON the road as well as keeping traction.LOL
