well i got my tranny back together but now my speedometer doesn't work.
i've checked for continuity and know that the plug is reading the sensor. the sensor is fine.;

when i was putting the tranny back together i noticed there is that large plastic gear on the differential and i assume that is what spins the speedometer gear.

everything mated back together and the trans works perfectly. i've checked all the other sensors and everything is plugged in. is there something else i could have missed?

was there something special i needed to do while putting the trans back together to insure the speedometer would work?

EDIT: fixed it. the plug was not secure.
