Default trans and clutch problem

i have a 93 HB 1.5L and the problem is, that i would say most of the time when im shifting into 3rd wether its from 2-3 or 4-3 it grinds a little bit and is a little sticky to get in and also 1st gear is sometimes a b!tch to go into i usaly have to be at a complete stop for it to go in! now the car has 175,000 miles on it and the clutch has never been done as far as i know and i just found out the throw out bearing is bad someone told me all the problems should be fixed if i replace my clutch wich i do plan on doing. alsowhen i start out driving(in 1st) i can only do about 10mph then it starts making this loud noise not realy grinding but friction of metal to metal! any helpy and info would be great thanx

I'm thinking your problem is with the transmission rather than the clutch. Start by draining the MT transmission fluid and replacing it with genuine Honda MT fluid.

same thing what he said you prolly should try draining your tranny fluid i bet it is black and then put the honda mtf in it known as manual tranny fluid and your problems should be solved most likely but try that first before anything else good luck

yea i did that today it does shift better and so far no grinding when going into 3rd! but i know my clutch has to be spanked and also b/c the throw out bearing is bad but the clutch kit comes with everything! i looked up online for MTF for honda and it said as well as the owners manual to use regular motor oil 5w20 or 10w40 so i used that!
