My sonhas a 95 DX with the automatic trans. Car moved about 8 feet on the snow covered driveway before it wouldn't go anymore.Looking under the hood, passenger side transaxle turns when you put it in gear, but the wheel ain't turning. Anybody got clues?? Some accompanying noise to go with this, typical light grinding you would associate with a problem of this magnitude. CV joint?? At least it happened while still in the driveway.

 

Check you inner coupling.. it probably pop out..

 

The CV joint broke. $60 later back on the road.
