I have a 94 Del Sol SI with a manual transmission and it is making a rattling noise in the gearbox during acceleration. As soon as I let off the gas or engage the clutch the noise slows down and goes away. Does this sound like bearings in the transmission? I'm going to fix it myself and I just got the transmission out so I wanted to know what to look for in the tranny.

 

I checked out all of the bearings and it looks like its the mainshaft bearing. It makes alot of noise when i spin it. Hopefully I can get the tranny back together in one piece!
