unknown transmission

Default unknown transmission

hello i have a 93 honda civic cx that i bought from my brother in-law it has a super charged jdm b16a DOHC VTECH engine that was ordered from japan and also a manual transmission was ordered from japan. he bought it from his buddy so therres no way to track it down. the only markings on the tranny was ysk-1 i need to find out what transmission that fits that engine and mounts in my car.which im using hasport motor mounts since the one i had is messed up ive called honda and every trans shop no one seems to know what im talking about i have the serial number off the engine if that helps b16a 5412ss5.... im ready to pull my hair out please help

I would think that any B series transmission would bolt on. You may find this page useful.

[edit] Oh, and by the way, it's vtec, not vtech. Adding the -h to vtec awakens Cthulhu and brings Armageddon one step closer.

force of habbit lol anyways i believe miine is hydrolic which one would u use

I'm not too knowledgeable on B series so I hope someone else jumps in here...

One of these is probably your best bet as far as being able to get one: Y21/Y80/S80/S4C
They're all hydraulic and 5 speed. JDM ones are gonna have to be imported unless you find one close to you.
