what can a bad shifter bushing causr as far as shifting??? can it make shifting any harder, i feel like i have to force from 1st to 2nd gear, any info would be apprecated

syncros....... maybe do you do a lot of pulls and dump it into second?

drag racing and shifting very hard, second usualy takes a good beating....
