I took my drain plug off to do ATF drain and fill. This is what it looks like. I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but I guess I will. It looks like a block of gunk. Does this mean my transmission is in bad shape? ~105k on 99 EX. purchased with ~60k. my first ATF change. don't know if it was done prior to the used car purchase.

 

that is a magnet. It collects the metallic particles that pass by it. I have no clue how much gunk is too much gunk. I guess when the car quits moving- it's got too much gunk- LOL
