Default 05 double din install

is it possible--easily able to install a double din ~7inch touch screen in the 05 civics (em2) I've seen pictures with them in there, but i remember asking on crutchfield live support a long time ago, and he said even with the metra double din dash kit, i would need to heavily modify the internals to make a screen that size fit

Yes it is possible.........as long a order the metra 95-7899 double din dash kit and use the factory brackets to secure the radio. The Dash kit really just pushes into place like a trim ring.

JWebb would be the guy to hit up on this one, but if all you're after is a double din touch screen, Liliputh (I think I got that right) makes a double din touch screen.

Just as an example.

Edit: Better example

When i say use the factory brackets, you have to use the original brackets that secure the factory radio in place.
