Hello all,

I've done some searches including on this forum, and I need a consensus on the speaker sizes for a 2005 VP Coupe. I tried the Crutchfield configurator but it doesn't make sense. They have several speaker sizes for each place! So what, is is 6x9 in the back, and then 6.5 or 5.25 in front?

I would appreciate a consensus on this! Who's got speakers in on this model and can tell me first hand the sizes? If you do, please speak up.

Same in all Hondas rangin from 1996 to present, 6.5 in the front and 6x9 in the back.

 

what is a VP model?

 

"Value Package"- a no frills, 4 door civic. As far as I know found in the year 2000- up model. Basically it literally is no frills as a DX model. D16Y7 ( in the 6th gen), manual windows, cd player, automatic. To the average consumer wanting a bang for the buck, its a value. I think they were like 14-15k brand spankin new.

 

Yup the VP is barebones but its cool for me, no moonroof or other crap to break.
It even has.. *gulp*.. CRANK WINDOWS!! Manual door locks and manual mirrors too.
Plus it's standard.
I get nice mileage with it, its pretty quiet and I'm enjoying it.
I just need a system in it now!
I got it for about 15k.

 

Mine has power locks. But only can the driver control them.
