Default 96 Civic Front Speaker Covers

I'm putting in my Sony Xplod 6.5s and I was wondering if anyone knew where you can buy aftermarket front speaker covers that allow you to actually see the speaker? (If they even exist.) I've checked on Google and have had no luck.

Here's a pic. so you know what I mean.

you could probably do somethin custom using a Dremmel or somethin, and i know you want to see the speaker but it seems like the more you can see the speaker the less protected it will be, and isnt that the whole point of the speaker cover?

I still want to keep the speaker covered, but I was just wondering if there were some aftermarket speaker covers that allowed you to see the speaker better, such as a normal factory one but with a plexi-glass window (for example).

Well, with a plexi-glass window, you won't get sound. That or it would be distorted. I understand you dilemma but, I don't think there's a good solution.

^ i was actaully gonna say plexiglass but then remembered that no sound could go throuhg lol

i understand your question though man, i think some 6.5"s look sick, but i dont know of any way to do it other than exposing the speaker more, which is bad. Google it and look around ebay, good luck

Damn, I really was hoping there was a solution.
Also, I didn't mean solid plexi-glass, but instead still have the little holes so sound is able to get through.

I figured for sure there would be aftermarket speaker covers.

Use the aftermarket grills. Cut out a hole with a dremel.......then mount up the grills in them, or on top of them.......then enjoy.
