Default Amp acting weird

So my fuse block broke for my amp, so i replaced it, and now my amp won't power on. I know it's getting power because i have an LED light in the trunk that gets it's power right off the amp's 12v and ground wires, so if thats getting power, the amp obviously is. I pulled the amp's fuse and it's fine, and as i put it back in the amp's green POWER lgiht turned on for a second, then went out. I know its not running the battery low on power because the car is running at the time, so do you think my amp is just toast or what?

Flip man, this is crazy but I was actually having the same problem as you with my amp. I found out though that it was actually where my fuse was connecting in the engine bay, it turned out the whole connecting part was making weak contact, but man I couldn't figure that one out because it was a really stealthy problem to notice because, like yours mine would work on and off> You probally knowthis already but check all your connections really well (I messed with the battery posts and everything until I found it. I can't offer much help though because besideswiring upthe stuff im a noob when it come to knowing anything about it.

ya ive had a similar problem before... it was a bad inline fuse. but i wasn't getting any power to the amplifier.
it was really weird!!!! the fuse looked perfect but i guess where the internal fuse touches the outter cap it must have broke loose and didnt make a conection all the time. replaced the fuse and it still works to this day..

ya the way i found it was using a light tester on the wires. it had power before that fuse but not after the fuse. was really weird! cause some times it would POP back ON and my bass would be fine and next turn or bump i hit the amplifier would kick off... HUGE PITA when you got that killer song and then POOP no bass.LOL
