Map sensor acting weird
I have a 1993 honda civic del sol with a b16a2 engine. when you turn it on, you can rev and drive without any issues, but after the engine in on for a bit, when you hit the gas, instead of acceleration, the engine begins to bog down at around 100rpm (it doesn't cut off, it just sits there) until you let go off the accelerator. It doesn't bog down if you accelerate slowly... upon messing around with the engine, i thought it could be the TPS and messed around with the sensor but nothing changed, it still bogged down. the suddenly, while the car was off, i unplugged the map sensor and turned it back on, and viola!, no more loss of power. i can't leave the sensor off though because then the car stays at 3k RPM at idle. my question is, would replacing the MAP sensor fix this issue? or is it something else? (car has new plugs, new cap + rotor, new oil/fuel filter) Just keep in mind, the weird part about it all is that it runs great while the engine is freshly turned on, but when its on for about 10 minutes, it starts to act funky. the 10 minute "timer" resets itself if you turn the car off then on again

im going to change the tps and some fuel injectors on the car, maybe that's what is making it bog down. the car is also letting out alot of white smoke, what does that mean? are 390cc good fuel injectors for the b16a2???

Found the problem. My car has two map sensors, the wires that go to each of them were crossed (the wire had to go on the other map sensor and vice versa).. now i get good revs and no check engine light... the only problem now is that it idles at very high RPM's (around the 2,000)..its not the idle screw and its not the distributor position (supposed to be centered right?)... what else could it be??
