Default beeping noise when alarm is unarmed

hey i recently went to the alarm installation place and they did something so that whenever I lock/arm and unlock/unarm the car, my parking lights will blink. Anyways after this, whenever I unarm the car to get in, and when I open the door I hear a beeping sound that goes away. What is this?

My alarm also goes off for a split second a couple times every night. I originally went to get this checked out but those losers at the shop said everything was fine. Anyone know what this could be?

Start by finding out what make/model of alarm you have. Read the manual for it. You will soon know more about it than the shop does, including proper installation.

it is your parking light. the beeping sound is the reminder for turning off your head lights/ parking lights. when your parking lights go on and you open the door the sound will go on and when your doors are close then the sound would be off. nothing really to worry about unless you get annoyed of the sound in that case you would need to disable that function.

as for the alarm going off, could it be the shock sensor, those things can be set to be super sensitive to low sensitivity. Maybe the wind or car/ trucks passing by that set it off?

i noticed that the sound goes off by itself, its a few beeps. but like you said probably nothing to worrry about.

as for the alarm, ihave no idea what model it is...
and i dont think it could be the shock sensor because the car is not sensitive at all. The strange thing is it only happens at night around 8 PM to 10:00 PM, often times if I get home at a certain time, it'll go off at that certain time.
