SoI have a couple questions, call me a noob but:

1.What are "ohms"?
2. What are single and dual voice coils and what is the difference?
3. I have 2 550 watt single voice coil subs and a 2000 watt 2 channel amp, what is the best way to wire them soI wont blow them out? The gain is set to just a little under half.

The subs are Duals in a Dual box that lights up (havent hookedthe lightsup yet) and the amp is a Pyle 2 channel 2000 watt amp. I know they arent the best but im not rich and its allI can afford (im 16 with no job). Wiring kit is Rockford 8 guage with the fuse holder kit. Head unit is Pioneer Premier DEHP690UB.
