Speaker has gone out in 07 civic, the front door speaker. This is a 4 door civic, not the 2 door, though I dont know if that makes a difference in the speaker used.

Anyway, looking at speakers online I'm not sure the exact size. Website are showing 5 1/4" - 6 1/2". That seems like a big difference in size!

What size should I get? Any particular speaker not fit? I see ones with the center part(cone?) that protrudes beyond the front of the rest of the speaker, so it might interfere with the door grill?

Any advice appreciated!!

 

the front i wouldn't worry about because there's a gap between the front of the speaker and the grill. what you need to worry about is the magnet in the back interfering with your windows ability to open all the way. you can buy spacers if need be you can also make them yourself out of wood.
