thanks for all of the replies. all of the stuff SHOULD be here tomorrow. i will put up some pics when i get it all. i know there is better stuff than what i got, but i have just always been a fan of alpine. being that this is my 1st system in my 1st car, if i dont like it or something, next time i might try something different. hopefully i will be happy though!

and yes im sorry buy size does matter. not just on the fact that they CAN be less responsive, but they can also make more of a slopy less crisp sound when needed. if your gonna listen to some stupid song and try to blow out your windows with a constant stupid of a low freq. then get the biggest sub you can fit. but for a quality system than can handle and impress in all different types of music, 10"s are the best. and can be just as loud.

im a little pissed at the moment. my stuff arrived today and i opened the box. uh, there was only ONE sub in it & the dynamat. the side of the box said 3 pcs. and said it weighed 75 lbs. i knew when i got it from the ups man it only seemed about 45-50. i called and the guy said that obviously they just didnt pack it and doesnt even know when they will ship the one that they were SUPPOSE TO SEND ME!!! it better be soon or i am cancelling this order and i will send it back. either that or they might let me cancel that one sub and take off $130 from the credit card. i dunno but this sucks. i got my amp wiring kit and cap which i ordered from a different place and everything was all good with it. what a da!!! and the thing is, i ordered a "pair" of subs. well, here is the link to the amp kit and dynamat...no sub pics because one was MISSING!!!!!!!!!! http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jhspla...lbum?.dir=8671
