Default gauges

i have an oil pressure guage and volt meter but i don't know how to install them. does anyone have a write up?

The manufacturer should have supplied instructions, or would possibly have some in PDF version on their web site. I've always gone through autometer and that's how they do it.

i have faze gauges, and the instructions are very general. they only deal with suppling power to the gauge. they didn't come w/ specific instructions and their site doesnt have anything on installs.

voltmeter black to ground red to 12 v purple to dimmer switch...oil pressure not so sure sdont got one

Yeah, the voltmeter is cake to install, but the oil pressure may be a little trickier.

Was the gauge sold to you with a car-specific installation kit? The oil pressure sender should probably be put in place of the stock oil pressure sending unit, but that would more than likely throw a CEL....

I wonder if your sending unit has the same impedence as the stock unit and you can just tap into the wires???
