I headed down to a audio shop that carries JL. My friends uncle ownes the shop. He made me an offer of a 13W3, alpine amp, wired, custom fitted ported box all for $620. I know JL is good, but am I getting ripped off???

I say go for it. JL is a great company, so is alpine and hes has to build you the box for this sub and install everything. I think $620 is just about right. You deffenitly not getting ripped off.
