Not to be too much of an ***, but it sounds like you dont really know too much about electronics let alone how to hook up your sterio, but have no fear www.the12volt.com has everything you need or could want to know about car audio! I highly suggest you look all through the site before you hook anything up. If there are some things the site does not answer or is a little unclear on let us know.

Well i know what i'm doing... honestly, i was swimming one day and needed to go to the store for something and when i got back i... well, i jumped in the pool with my key's in my pocket till 1 hour later i noticed they were there and my dad got mad at me and took them from me (really strict rent's) to dry the remote out and then the day i went to buy the head unit i took his truck cuz he took my car to work for them to fix the air conditioner and so i just tought i'd screw off that day, but the next day i asked him for the keys and he said he didn't know where they were... and it's been three days and i still haven't found them... so there you have it... my stupidity at work!!

thanks for the help tho dude that site is a little helpful...

hahaha, yeah i know how parents can be, mine were really strict too!

Electronics are really really simple when you get the hang of it. Just dont be to afraid to try... worst thing that can happen is you fry your stuff, which aint even that big of a deal because it just stuff and can be replaced... eventually! Let us know if you need anymore help.
