Default head unit doesnt power up anymore and the dash radio seems dim and is always reseting at 1 o'clock..

i have a 94 ex with a jvc dvd headunit, sony xplods in the doors up front, pioneers on the rear deck, power acoustic tweeters in the front doors too, and a kicker solobaric 12" powered by a sony 600w amp. it started last year when my headunit would lose power and the dash clock would seem to lose some power and dim as if the headlights were on even if they werent, and when the headlights were on it would get even dimmer. after a while it would come back on when i would get back in the car later on in the day or the next day and it seemed fine. it started to happen more frequently and now its lasting longer. i tore apart the dash trying to see if it was a bad wire connection but nothing, and even checked the battery wiring to make sure everthing was secure and everything else works fine tho. im lost and getting really frustrated, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to take care of this annoying dilemma. anything would be appreciated.

Your alternator is probably failing. First check whether the battery connectors and terminals are tight and clean, and also that the battery is fully charged. If all checks out okay, then take the car to a local auto parts store to have the alternator tested.

+1 for the alternator. Sounds like a slow charge - so it's still trying... but also dying.
