Default HEATING FAN DOESNT WORK

hi i have a 88 crx si and a 89 civic cx, the si has a dohc zc, cx is stock, ne ways i replaced the climate control unit on the crx cuz it was all broken and still my fan doesnt work, i am suspecting that the fan is broken, could someone tell me where it is and how to do? and possibly could this just be a blown fuse? i think i checked fuses on the one car and they were alrite, any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

1) Check whether fuse 19 is blown.

If fuse is fine:

2) The blower resistor or blower motor may be bad (or bad wiring).

If you ground the BLU/BLK wire of the blower motor, it should run when the ignition key is turned to ON. If it doesn't, then the blower motor is probably bad.

The blower motor is located behind the glove box and evaporator with access from below the dash.

For more details, see 88 Civic manual at link in my signature.

I think the fuse is under the hood in the box next to the battery.

See if voltage is reaching the motor by measuring between the two wires in the motor plug (ignition key on and switch on high). If you have battery voltage but the motor doesn't run, the motor is bad. If no voltage between the 2 wires, measure from each wire to ground. Both at zero means no power is coming from the fuse or relay. Both at 12 volts means the circuit thru the resistor and switch to ground is bad.
