not a prob, its probably installer lingo, i dont even know lol
go to your car, open the drivers door, look down. it is the piece of plastic (that is the sill plate) that is on the edge of the carpet. it is held on with clips so if u be careful and pull it up and push the carpet to the side there will be a bundle of wires probably wraped in electric tape cut the tape open and be sure not to cut the wires.and it should be in there, use a DMM (digital multi meter) to check to make sure though.

yes there are, are they in a loom or in a white sleeve, all the wires for the brakelights and if u have a 4 door all of the p-window, p-lock wires are there too along with a mess of extras for the door pins and everything

If you really want to wire it that way, you can just get a relay from an aux fog lamp harness, easy as pie: power, p.lights, switch, ground, done.
Don't use a really high amp one tho!
