ok well... i have it adjusted alittle beter now... moved the radio back about 1/2inch but still need to take it back just a hair on the top and about 1/4inch on the botom...

BUT LOOKS ALOT BETER.......

i woulda fixed it BUT i had so many problems instaling my sirius tuner i didnt want to touch it anymore!!!!!
i swear i had the radio in and out about a dozen times due to little problems every time... forgot ipod cable, sirius tuner conector wire came off... broke one wire off the cig lighter harness,,, just one thing after another!!!
not to mention my furnace went out 3days ago so im depending on this little gas heater we got... and yesterday heater guy came out... and i had to take out our whells water blatter so he could get the fan unit out... and then find out they gave him the wrong fan motor... and then the fan place closed.... so going on the 3rd day with very little heat and no water for 2 days now... needless to say I FEEL DIRTY.....






i had to move back the radio ruffly 1/2inch... that lower screw was in the middle small slit... just to show ya about how far i had to move it back..

preaty close to being good.... but with everything happening thats as good as its gonna get for the time being!

i can buy a navigation system for it BUT for the cost if i get anything it will be one of those tomtoms or something like that.LOL i dont drive enough to warrent paying another 1K for it!

well yes and no......

heres a few downfalls... one the background can not be displayed at any time fullscreen
so the radios INFO or sirius INFO and cd INFO is always covering up the top half... and the lower touch screen controls also cover up alittle of it
so if you make a background picture you have to take into account those blocked areas

plus the little car symbol for the radio signal




BUT if ya want to have a more picture display its realy easier to burn a DVD...

since i got my new computer i burned my first dvd with music videos i downloaded and a bunch of pictures with my selected audio songs added in....
realy preaty sweet!!!!!!!

and if you just burn a picture dvd/slideshow... then you just select what audio source you want like radio,ipod,sirius, then ya just have to select the visual and switch it to dvd... so only thing that shows is the slideshow dvd and your audio source sellected plays music


to custom make the background ive only found one site that can and does it...

i was gonna use my civic picture BUT it looks kinda crapy cause i didnt take into account the info areas in the way

after ya download the picture ya like burn them onto a cd preferably rewritable cause the files are realy small and would be wasting a cd...LOL

but for some alpine units you can only burn 1 file to a cd.... and a few like mine can have about 10files on the cd... and mine can remember two backgorunds which is preaty cool!


this radios got so many cool features its well worth the money!!!!!! and the picture is great at any angle!!!!! plus it doesnt block my heater/AC vents which was very important to me


only thing i HATE about the unit is that is only comes with one trim ring for the radio and at lest in my civic i had to chop it down top and bottom for it to fit.... i think thats truly BS why ya have to just eyeball cut it down to fit!!!!!!
it SHOULD come with afew size bezels!
