honda-tech.com has a nice tutorial. Couple that with the one in DIY section that addiction made, that should get you started.

Relay is a good idea. I setup mine recently without a relay, but used a pretty large gauge wire and it isn't too far away from the cut point. I would be more worried about whatever you use for a switch melting if it isn't a high enough amperage rating. Radioshack sells one that is like 12V 25A, more than enough for the fuel pump circuit as it shouldn't ever have more than 15A going through, and if it does it will blow the fuse under the dash.

I am actually considering rewiring mine to include a relay, not so much for worry of amperage, but as another layer of security. One idea I liked is wiring the relay into the radio wiring you would normally use for a power antenna or to switch on an amp (can't remember the exact name atm). If you have no face plate or the radio is turned off, no power goes to the relay, fuel pump circuit never opens up.

Just remember to be creative. A radioshack switch in between the rear seat and the side panel is posted EVERYWHERE. Something like Addictions is better. Something of your own is best.
