Anyone know how to make them flash fast? Im not saying im going to do this, just want to know how to do it.

I know on my Caddy it blinks fast when the blinker light on the tail light is out.

 

You can either swap a bulb for an led bulb (led's have lower resistance and cause fast flash) or buy the adjustable flasher controller that adjusted the resistance the flasher see's which in turn adjusts the flasher speed....

 

The blinkers flash fast when the resistance in the wires aren't compatible to the flasher module. That means if a blinker is burned out or removed, the resistance that the bulb provided ceases the resist. Then the blinker will blink super fast. There are a couple of ways to make yours blink fast without losing a blinker. You can replace some blinkers with LED blinkers that aren't D.O.T. or S.A.E. aproved. These normally have less resistance than regular bulbs. Or, you (the easier way) you can get a heavy duty flasher from an auto parts store. These flashers are usually used for trucks that have trailers with more lights/blinkers than usual. The heavy duty blinkers are pre-set for a higher the usual resistance. Since your car will have far under that resistance it will blink fast.

summary: buy a heavy duty flasher and replace yours with it.

 

just buy some led's and they will...mine blink very fast with led's in the taillight blinkers

a few of my friends cars have them blink fast becasue of a CEL orsomething wrong with the car, kind of like an indicator. Now that i think about it, my dads truck has that.
