First thing i checked was the ground.(for the amp) It seems to be fine the wire is only 3 inches long and i sanded down the area of contact and everythings nice and tight.

hmm it is kinda hollow but there really isnt too solid of a place, maybe theres a pinch seam i can tap into. OH and i just had a thought. Since im running 2 seperate amps (one for sub and one for front speakers, should those be grounded at the same point?

Ok guys i found the problem. The previous owner of my car left the amp wiring in the car when he sold to me, so i just hooked everything up to those but come to find out he connected the remote turn on wire to god knows where and when i used an electrical accesory (ie blinker, headlights and sometimes brake lights) it would make the voltage drop for a split second to like 5 volts. That is what caused the "skipping". So I spliced the remote turn on into the headunit wiring harness where it should be and everything works awesome. I appreciate you guys help!
