ya i got one that i plan on puting in my civic eventualy BUT i dont have any video game console to plug into my car yet and no way im keeping my xbox 360 in my civic.LOL

but with these you can plug anything into it!
only thing i would change is the TURN on switch...... i have mine wired up so the switch is extended so i can wire the switch where ever i want it in the car! i had it that way in my truck and always worked good!
the switch is just 12volt circuit so you realy only need one wire ran to it from the dash and just tie into that same power wire... just to kinda keep wires down in the car....

and i plan on mounting mine in the trunk area and just running extension cords thru the car with its OWN circuit protector just incase.... i know most say they have built in ones.... BUT id rather be safe than sorry... plus with one of those i can make as many multiplugs as i want!

one thing i ALWAYS wanted to put in my vehicles.... fog machines YES FOG MACHINES!!!!! id have four hoses.... two inside the car under the seats going back.... and the other two ran under the car..... and simply plumbing a valve 2 Yd hoses so i could control where i wanted the fog.... alittle on the insides... and alot on the underbody to realy set off my underbody lights!!!
BUT thats always been in the FUTURE mod list.... towards the back...LOL

ORIGINAL: my05civic

so you can plug in stuff like a ps2?
i guess you can. I'd just wire a ps2 into the fuse box. We did have a slushy machine in the back of my friend's ecaclade off an inverter though...

well problem with that is having the correct voltage for the PS unit... i cannt remember if its 12volt or 14volt... but id rather have it powered from its power box and be correct voltage for the unit.... that way it doesnt spike up to 14volts or visversa down to 12volts.... that cannt be good for electronics that werent designed for that!

my first mobile video used a power inverter, cheapo pyle screen (just screen, no dvd player) cheap pioneer radio, and a cheap dvd player custom fitted behind the glove compartment ran off a 150 watt inverter, it was skip-tastic but the ghettoness made my buddies giggle

Yeah its pretty nice if you have some kind of charger for something but you don't have or can't find the 12v one. Yeah even though its only 300w you can run a ton of stuff. Cellphones, small tv's (though I would get an in-dash flat screen), laptops, dvd players, emergency lights, small power tools, the list goes on. I hooked up a really short 3 prong extension cord to it the other day so it's easy to access now.
